Square Skylights – Brisbane Made

We have been manufacturing and installing square skylights in Brisbane for over 20 years. Our square skylight have stood the test of time against the harsh Queensland weather. We provide a lifetime warranty with all skylights and because of this you can rest assured that your skylight won’t crack or leak during the next summer storm.

Skylights in Brisbane have traditionally be installed in areas that see a large amount of sunlight, however, with the technology possible today it is now common to see skylights installed in areas of the roof previously thought ineffective. With decades of experience in the industry we have tested and refined our manufacturing process and can now offer a square skylight for nearly all situations.

We supply skylights in 250mm, 300mm, 400mm, 500mm, 600mm and 800mm measurements. Generally you will gain sufficient light from a 250mm, 300mm and 400mm skylight to light up a bathroom, hallway or small kitchen. If you require a skylight that will light up a larger area such as a living or open family room then you will require a larger skylight.

Our Brisbane Made Square Skylights Feature:

-DOME – the domes of our square skylights are made from U.V. stabilised, high-impact acrylic. The acrylic itslef is sourced right here in Brisbane and we mould the domes for our Brisbane skylights on-site. Each dome is 3mm thick which guarantees the skylight a long life. Even the wild Brisbane storsm seen over the last few years haven’t been able to penetrate our high impact acrylic domes. The domes are available in either clear or opal, depending on preference.

- SHAFT – we supply two varieties of shafts for our square skylights. The most commonly used shaft is a “flexi-tube” shaft which is quite flexible and as such can be installed in nearly all locations. Flexi-tube shaft’s will provide sufficient light for a standard sized kitchen or dining room. If the room you are looking to light-up is a large combined living/dining room or a lounge room, you may consider a “reflective-mirrored” shaft. These mirrored shafts provide a higher level of light and as such can light up larger areas. For examples of both a flexi-tube and a mirrored-reflective shaft please look in our gallery page.

-DIFFUSER – our Australian made diffusers are available in clear/prismatic, opal and half-opal. If your skylight is fitted with a flexi-tube then a clear/prismatic diffuser will be appropriate. If you are installing a skylight with a mirrored shaft then an opal or half opal diffuser will be appropriate.

- CEILING TRIM - our ceiling trims are manufactured right here in Brisbane and are made from long-life hi-grade aluminium. The ceiling trim’s are powder-coated white and suit standard ceiling construction.
